Tauck is named after its founder - Arthur Tauck Sr., a young salesman who started in 1925 by taking guests on his sales trip on an all-inclusive basis. This journey was incredible, and rave reviews made him think about launching a traveling business. Dynamically developing travel company became the first tour operator awarded a federal Tour Broker's License by the U.S. government.
Arthur Tauck, Jr. managed to maintain the family business and improve upon it, taking the company to a new success level. First, he introduced more domestic flights and then started adding destinations for global travel to the list. As a result, he became recognized as a travel industry innovator who was first to combine unusual features, for example, air travel and motorcoach tours, or offered air tour packages to Nova Scotia with the first international charter.
